99% of parents want the best for their children, but the challenges of family dysfunction, poverty, transportation, language barriers, cultural concerns and conflicts put children at-risk of abuse, mental health problems, and the child victim at risk of not receiving the assistance they need to recover, be protected from further abuse, and lead healthy lives.
For The Child offers innovative programs to children and parents in our facilities, in their homes, at their
neighborhood schools and at community sites to overcome barriers to children receiving the help they need to be healthy,
productive adults – and enjoy their childhood too!
85 cents of every dollar we spend goes directly to services for children and their caretakers.
We cannot do the work we do with young children without you. There are many ways you can invest in the future of the most vulnerable children in our community – ways you can help their natural resilience, optimism and potential resurface so they can move forward, productively, with their lives.
