Start Date: Position Currently Available
Salary: $40,000 to $46,000 DOE
Location: United States - California - Long Beach
Specific Education, Certification and Skill Requirements (if applicable):

• MSW/MA Required
• Registration with BBS Required
• Strong clinical, verbal, and writing skills
• Experience in providing mental health treatment to children and adolescents preferred.
• Experience working with families that have been impacted by child abuse, domestic violence, and/or substance abuse issues desired.

Job Description:

Full-time therapy position in Child Abuse Treatment Program providing outpatient treatment services to children and adolescents. Will receive training in Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), an innovative, evidenced based treatment method. Average caseload of 21clients. Provide individual and group therapy, as well as complete clinical assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries. Case management duties include coordination with schools and DCFS. Strong documentation skills required.

• Knowledge of EPSDT Medi-Cal documentation desirable
• Experience in providing mental health treatment to children and adolescents preferred.

Full-time therapy position in Family Focused Mental Health Program providing both school and outpatient agency based mental health treatment services to children and adolescents. Average caseload of 20 clients. Provide individual and group therapy, as well as complete clinical assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries. Case management duties include coordination with schools and DCFS. Strong documentation skills required.
